A Little Bit About Me
Me:- History, culture, art and architecture, language & travel fascinates me! Dabble in a bit of photography, art, cooking (mainly experimental!)...DIY...well....I generally take an interest in everything from current affairs to dancing šŸ¤£ . Love staying fit and outdoor adventures, a zest for life & positive energy . Would love to be able to travel more one day, as Iā€™ve only done a little so far. No one is a finished article and thereā€™s always something new to explore or a skill to learn. Whilst Iā€™d like an opportunity to be my own person, it would be great to share those interests with someone who does too!!! At the same time I have been brought up in a very family orientated environment and the importance of that foundation is strongly embedded within me. Am tolerant & respectful, absolutely love children and am great with them. Still hoping to have my own one day with someone who feels the same. But it takes two people who willingly communicate and are self-aware of themselves and each other to balance a life incorporating it all, with fulfillment & compassion.


Culturally:- I would describe myself as having an equal balance of both east & west. Iā€™m appreciative of the good in both cultures and am an amalgamation of a bit of everything.

Religion:- I am a practicing Muslim, and am a strong believer in implementing teachings to shape how we relate to and treat others without judgement and deal with circumstances in life. Everyone has their own journey and challenges to face for reasons we may not understand; and so for me though I live my life with certain principles itā€™s also important to not let our moral compass overshadow how we treat others nor allow it to turn into religious pride.



Never married? Nope. Didnā€™t grow up around much of a community and so never met anyone. (Thankfully no male cousins were my age range ! šŸ˜‚). Iā€™m happily single Alhumdullilah and so marriage for me means genuinely wanting to spend the rest of your life with that person, not just because ā€œitā€™s about timeā€. My intentions however, are serious and Iā€™m not looking for casual dating.

What I Am Looking For
Hoping to Meet - Someone who can balance different facets of their life with familial responsibilities. Being super-comfortable & clicking with the other person is important - however, not expecting ā€œinstantā€ rather the the willingness to build. It takes two people who are willing to communicate to resolve misunderstandings in a healthy way. Apart from that attraction on some level and some common interests might be part of that ā€˜je ne sais quoiā€™. .... who knows...That being said, I see marriage as team work, to build together, motivate each other to be better individuals, appreciate each otherā€™s interests, to live, to learn, be each otherā€™s better half with love, honesty & respect. Life is too short - donā€™t over-complicate it.


Communication/ Meeting - Communication has to work two ways - so if youā€™re not willing to communicate please donā€™t match. Iā€™m comfortable communicating on a safe medium here and I would request an EARLY meetup, so that we can both be assured who we are speaking to, and if there is any basis to continue to, then swap numbers .....(weeks/ months of talking only to meet-up and realise that it wonā€™t work/ no chemistry /or youā€™ve been catfished ...is just awkward for everyone šŸ˜¬)
